Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account (Assistant Manager) to join our team at Tanah Group. This is a full-time position based in Jaya One, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting and reporting services, playing a crucial part in supporting the company's overall financial objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in the company's accounting system.
3. Reconcile accounts and provide support for the month-end and year-end closing process.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
5. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably in the property development industry.
• Audit experience in property development industry is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
