Job description

Responsible to prepare full set of management accounting and financial statements

Perform monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely closure of management accounts.

Maintain journal entries, analyse and reconcile general ledger, expenditure and revenue accounts.

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records & schedules.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including tax compliance.

Design, plan, implement and improve the accounting & financial policies and processes.

Maintain integrity of the accounting system (Autocount), ensuring it always remains effective and operational.

Prepare monthly and quarterly internal financial reports.

Prepare annual final accounts for auditor and tax analysis for tax agents.

Ensure that all accounting ledgers are maintained accurately and that all accounting reconciliations are completed each month.

Assist in cash flow management and gross margin analysis.

Prepare tax planning and tax submission, manage tax relaxed matters to ensure compliance on tax and SST matters and keep up to date on Malaysia tax regulations.

Assist in annual forecasting and annual budgeting processes.

Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as may be required from time to time by the management.

Ability to build relationships with other departments and decision makers

Prepare monthly payrollsand keep up to date with latest labour law.

Requirements:

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (preferably Mandarin speaking). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Working experience is an advantage, especially professionalism in accountancy on construction materials and property development

Computer literacy (familiar with Microsoft excel and Autocount is an advantage)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Good written and verbal communication skills
