Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Finance professional to manage full accounts and operations in the Finance Department. Responsibilities include preparation of financial statements, management reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy with relevant experience and strong analytical skills, particularly in communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience in handling full set accounts.
  • Familiar with Accounting Standards, Company Taxation and Company Act.
  • Good spoken/written in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts and daily operations of the Finance Department.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues in accounting.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts and daily operation works of Finance Department

Able to lead, guide and check the works of the team members

Ensure monthly financial statement are accurately prepared on a timely basis and adhere to accounting standard

Liaise with auditor, tax agent, company secretaries, bankers and other accounting parties

Prepare of management reports, financial analysis, tax computation, quarterly and yearly forecast and budget

Identify and resolve operational issues relating to accounting

Cash management, cash flow reporting and other related analysis

Assist in yearly audit and tax preparation

Maintain and improve internal control, business process and accounting system

Qualifications:-

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or part professional qualification such as ACCA, MIA or equivalent.

Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience in handling full set accounts.

Familiar with Accounting Standards, Company Taxation and Company Act.

Computer literate with accounting system and Microsoft.

Good spoken/written in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Must have mindset:-

Accountability, accepting absolute responsibility for all tasks assigned

Good in time management and able to meet deadlines

Highly analytical, motivated and a team player with good interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills, quick to learn new concepts
