Job description

Account Assistant/Executive | Growing Financial Team | Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam

Join our dynamic finance department where your accounting skills will directly contribute to our company's success! We're looking for a detail-oriented Account Assistant/Executive to maintain our financial operations and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and manage invoices, payments, purchase orders, and receipts
  2. Perform accounts reconciliation (Supplier & Customer SOA) and follow up on outstanding invoices
  3. Maintain accurate financial records, filing, ledgers, and assist with monthly/quarterly reporting
  4. Enter financial data into our ABSS Accounting System with precision
  5. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial statements and management reports
  6. Ensure timely bill payments and expense processing to maintain positive vendor relationships
  7. Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned
  8. Provide administrative support

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. 1+ year of accounting experience (fresh graduates with relevant studies are welcome!)
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) & Able to use Accounting Software
  4. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  7. Perform general administrative and ad hoc tasks
  8. Have own transport with valid driving license
