This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring smooth administrative operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling employee claims, processing transactions, and providing administrative and HR support.

What You'll Be Doing
About the Role

Ecotrafo Energy is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Assistant cum Admin to join our team in Senai, Johor. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring smooth administrative operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling employee claims, processing transactions, and providing administrative and HR support.

What You'll Be Doing
Accounting Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements

  • Prepare and process e-invoices, receipts, and vendor payments

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

  • Handle employee claims, including reimbursements and disbursements

  • Assist with tax preparation and financial reporting

  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and auditors

  • Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping and data entry

Administrative & HR Support
  • Provide general office support including filing, data entry, and correspondence

  • Handle emails, phone calls, and day-to-day inquiries

  • Manage office supplies, company assets, and facilities

  • Support HR processes: leave tracking, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment coordination

  • Assist with training sessions and maintaining employee records

  • Perform various ad-hoc administrative duties as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge

  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to support across departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting/admin role

  • Strong numerical and data entry skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
