Job summary

E&R Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Melaka is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full set of accounts and support monthly financial reporting.

You will handle AR/AP/GL, prepare invoices, and assist in day-to-day accounting using Excel and accounting software.

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, 1–3 years of experience, and good communication skills are required; Mandarin is a plus, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage due to the business nature needed.
• Able to handle a full set of accounts independently.
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts (AR, PR & GL)
• Prepare monthly management account and financial reports
• Prepare for receiving and processing invoices from vendors.
• Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate record keeping
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filling all the necessary documentation.
• Assist in other ad-hoc assignment as and when it is required.
