Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Account Executive to manage accounting functions and ensure timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, experience with UBS Accounting Software, and the ability to work independently on full sets of accounts. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Must possess LCCI, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of accounting and coordinate monthly accounts closing.
  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of yearly accounts closing for annual audit.
  • Ensure timely reporting of management & financial reports.
  • Liase with auditors, company secretary, bank, tax agent, government bodies, and other external parties.
  • Perform any additional adhoc assignments as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least LCCI, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidate with experience in using UBS Accounting Software will have an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation, and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Experience in audit exposure and group consolidation will be an added advantage.
  • Able to manage a full set of accounts independently.
  • Highly analytical with a keen attention to details.
  • High organizational skills and able to work in a team.
