Job Responsibilities
- Support and review documentation for all fixed assets movement, ensuring proper authorization and documentation for new acquisitions and disposals.
- Assist in preparing financial and management reports, budgeting, cash flow projections, and financial analysis, with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
- Maintain the computerized accounting system, including backup control and generating reports and statements.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Management.
- Maintain the general ledger and related accounts with proper documentation; review entries for accuracy and compliance; control changes to the chart of accounts.
- Process vendor invoices and internal check requests, obtaining necessary approvals for payments.
- Assist with vendor reimbursements, including vendor maintenance, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and payments.
- Conduct monthly cash flow projection and analysis.
- Perform data entry for accounts receivable, maintaining ledgers, credit balances, and resolving irregularities.
- Support finance, accounting, and ad hoc projects as required by the Finance Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Experience in large-scale retail accounts and supervisory roles is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mature, team-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to work on weekends/public holidays when required.
- Willingness to travel outstation when necessary.
