Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, AR/AP, and regulatory reporting from our Malaysia office in Selangor. The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience and a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in MYOB and Microsoft Excel, able to meet tight deadlines, and work well in a team; Mandarin language skills are essential for communicating with Hong Kong/China stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Full Set of Accounts:
Prepare and maintain full set of monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Issue invoices and credit notes to clients accurately.
Monitor incoming payments and perform daily cash application.
Follow up on overdue accounts and manage the collections process to minimize bad debt.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and petty cash reimbursements.
Ensure timely payments to vendors and adherence to payment terms.
Handle supplier reconciliation and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Compliance & Reporting:
Assist with statutory audit, tax filing (GST/SST), and other regulatory submissions.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers as required.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
