A leading company in Puchong is seeking a full-time accounting assistant to manage payments, reconcile invoices, and support the accounting team. Candidates with a Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration, including fresh graduates, are encouraged to apply. This role offers a monthly salary between RM 2,200 and RM 2,500, complemented by working hours from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
1. PROCESSING PAYMENTS -
• Update supplier invoices into SQL system.
• Verify all supplier invoices before proceed for payments.
• Processing payments to suppliers and ensuring they are accurate and on time.
• The cheques to be paid must be photocopied first before handing it to the runner for banking in, after the runner submits the slip, it should be given to Madam.
2. RECONCILING -
• Reconciling invoices and suppliers statements (SOA), and resolving any discrepancies.
3. COMMUNICATING -
• Liaising with suppliers and finance officers, and answering queries from suppliers, contractors, and other departments.
4. MAINTAINING RECORDS -
• Maintaining accounts payable records, including accounting ledger.
• Maintaining Hire purchase in suspend record as per Hire purchase schedule.
5. SETTING UP ACCOUNTS -
• Setting up new supplier accounts and amending existing supplier details.
6. ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS -
• Performing administrative duties such as typing, photocopying, scanning, filing, labelling and printing
• Update data and monitor for Road Tax renewal & Singapore Permit.
• In charge of Public Courier
• In charge of foreign workers attendance and salaries.
7. ASSISTING WITH MONTH-END CLOSING AND AUDIT -
• Assisting with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
8. SUPPORTING THE ACCOUNT TEAM -
• Supporting the account team in various accounting tasks, such as data entry and financial reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENT:
1. Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Basic accounting knowledge would be an advantage.
4. Experience with SQL software is a bonus.
5. Must be cooperative and able to work in a team environment.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Hours: 8.00am - 5.30pm (Monday - Friday)
