We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting functions. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting entries in the accounting system, including invoicing, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers with supporting documents, process payments via online banking and cheques within stipulated timelines.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
- Assist in monthly stock take and generate relevant stock reports.
- Provide backup support for generating register keys to customers and dealers.
- Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, and dealers when necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation and systematic filing of all financial records.
- Assist in preparing ISO related documents for internal/external audits.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Willing to learn and committed to work.
