About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join our team at RESTU IDEAL (M) SDN. BHD. in Taman Johor Jaya Johor. This is a full-time position where you will support our accounting operations and contribute to the overall financial management of the organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents
  2. Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing monthly reports
  3. Reconciling bank statements and petty cash accounts
  4. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  5. Providing administrative support to the finance team
  6. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies

What we're looking for

  1. Knowledge of Auto Count Accounting software
  2. At least 1-2 years of experience as an Account Assistant
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Fluent in Malay and English, both written and spoken
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and practices
