Job Title: Account Assistant (LPO Focus)
Job Summary:
Assist in processing and managing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), ensuring accurate documentation and timely payments. Support procurement and finance teams by maintaining records, verifying invoices, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, verify, and process Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in line with company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, prices, and delivery schedules.
- Match supplier invoices against LPOs and delivery receipts for payment processing.
- Maintain and update accurate LPO and payment records in the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing payment requests and expense reports related to purchases.
- Coordinate with procurement and workshop teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.
- Support month-end closing activities related to purchases and payments, and prepare monthly reports.
- Assist with vendor data entry and maintenance in accounting software (SQL).
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1+ year experience in accounting or procurement support, preferably handling LPOs.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is highly advantageous.
