About the role

We are seeking a driven and organized Account Assistant to join our team at MS ADVANCE TRANSPORT in Lunas, Kedah. This is a full-time position responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to our client-facing sales operations.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review monthly and yearly financial statements
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
  • Supervise and review accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle supplier payments and monitor receivables
  • Prepare and submit reports for GST, SST, and audit purposes
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Chinese candidates are preferred for internal communication and coordination
  • Minimum SPM/Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • At least 2 years of working experience in accounting
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to oversee accounting operations
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, AutoCount, or similar)
  • Meticulous, independent, and responsible in completing tasks
