Job summary

A leading company in the accounting sector is looking for an Account Assistant for Account Receivable who will handle full sets of accounts with guidance. The successful candidate will prepare payment vouchers, monitor accounts receivable/payable, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience handling full set of accounts preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare payment vouchers, issue cheques, and manage daily collection.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliation and assist in month-end closing.
  • Monitor AR/AP aging and ensure timely payments and collections.

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent, 1 year experience in similar role preferred
  • At least 1–2 years' experience handling basic full set of accounts
  • Able to use computerized accounting system (e.g. SQL, UBS, AutoCount)
  • Good attitude, responsible, and a team player
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong team spirit
  • Handle full set of accounts with guidance from supervisor
  • Prepare payment vouchers, issue cheques, manage daily collection & bank-in
  • Perform monthly account reconciliation and assist in month-end closing
  • Monitor AR/AP aging and ensure timely payments and collections
  • Prepare bank reconciliation, control accounts, and financial reports
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries in the system
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date accounting records
  • Liaise with auditor, tax agent, and company secretary when necessary
