Job description

Job Responsibility

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure timely closing of books of accounts

Accounts Management

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process automation, and financial efficiency
  • Assist with implementation of ERP or accounting software upgrades

Education

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field
  • Proven track record of handling monthly closings, budgeting, and audits
  • Experience working with external auditors and regulatory authorities
