Job description

1. Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2. Experience: 3+ years in an accounting or bookkeeping role (entry-level candidates with strong skills may be considered).

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

4. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

5. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.

6. Additional: Knowledge of basic accounting principles (MFRS/IAS) is a plus.

Job Scope:

1. Assist in processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

3. Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledgers.

4. Prepare and submit expense reports, petty cash reimbursements, and vendor payments.

5. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

6. Generate basic financial reports (e.g., aging reports, trial balances).

7. Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries.

8. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. 9. Assist the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks
