Job description

This is a full-time Accountant role based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, reporting to the management team at Agency perkerjaan ks marketing sdn bhd. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting functions within the company.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports

Reconciling bank statements and managing accounts payable and receivable

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

Providing financial analysis and forecasting to support business decision making

Collaborating with the leadership team to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements

Participating in the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements

Assisting with audits and providing information to external stakeholders as required

What we're looking for

Relevant accounting qualification, such as a degree in Accounting or a professional accounting certification

At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, preferably in the Accounting industry

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

Familiarity with accounting software and technology

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
