Job summary

A telecommunications service company based in Johor Bahru seeks an Accounts Receivable professional to maintain AR records and ensure compliance with billing procedures. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance and is proficient in MS Excel and billing systems. Responsibilities include following up on payments and updating customer information. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and meet collection targets.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the AR aging report on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Follow up with salesman/customers on outstanding payments.
  • Update customer payment information in the accounting system.
  • Ensure all AR activities comply with company policies.

Location & Working Hours

Mars Mobile Distribution – Taman Molek, Johor

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 Full Days). Fixed Off Day on Sunday & Public Holiday.

Working Hours: 9.30 AM – 6 PM.

Overtime rate: 1.5 / 2.0 will be pay accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the AR aging report on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Follow up with salesman/customers on outstanding payments.
  • Update customer payment information in the accounting system.
  • Ensure all AR activities comply with company policies, especially for telecommunication service contracts.
  • Follow internal SOPs for billing, collections, and write-offs.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Familiar with billing systems and accounting software. Knowledge of AutoCount software is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet collection targets.
