Job summary

MSS Biofresh, located in Johor Bahru, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing and customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of experience, demonstrating strong attention to detail and communication skills. You will contribute to maintaining organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Generate and send out invoices to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Job description

Generate and send out invoice to clients.

Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices

Payment Management

Record and reconcile customer payments

Process and apply incoming payment (check, credit cards, bank transfers) to company account

Customer account management

Maintain up-to-date customer accounts

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.

Collections

Monitor accounts receivable aging reports

Contact client regarding overdue payments and arrange payment plans if necessary

Reporting

Prepare regular reports on account receivable status

Assists in month-end closing activities by providing accurate accounts receivable information

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related result as needed

Maintained organized and accurate financial records as well as to ensue all records are compliant with company policies and regulations

Implement clerical duties and administrative processes.

Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail with client regarding billing issue and payment terms.

Required Experience

Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in basic accounts, reporting & invoicing.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

Able to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
