You will perform daily accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, and manage accounts payable/receivable.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to join our team in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience in daily finance operations, and be familiar with Million Accounting Software and e-Invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoicing, and bank reconciliation

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government bodies when required

• Manage e-Invoicing in compliance with LHDN guidelines

• Support the finance team with any other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience

• Proficient in Million Accounting Software or similar (SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks)

• Knowledge of e-Invoicing systems (LHDN-compliant)

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
