  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain vendor records and communicate effectively regarding payment status and inquiries.
  • Generate and send customer invoices.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Record customer payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform data entry tasks and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between accounting records and bank statements.
  • Prepare and maintain reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, such as filing documents and organizing records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate coding and allocation of expenses.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Min. 2 years experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin/Cantonese. (Need to communicate with China.)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
