Job description

Job Responsibilities

Manage and be responsible for the full set of accounting functions in a timely manner to ensure the company's cash flow remains healthy.

Prepare accounting reports for review and audit purposes by Top Management.

Handle and manage all aspects of financial matters.

Perform daily accounting transactions, such as bank acceptance due date listing, petty cash management, and reconciliations.

Update and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports (monthly profit and loss statement, balance sheet, annual audited accounts) for management.

Handle and manage the purchase of Bankers’ Acceptance.

Control petty cash for daily operations.

Responsible for controlling company cash flow and updating the Director promptly.

Manage documentation and correspondence related to loans or financial matters, such as term loans, overdrafts, bank acceptance, and letters of credit.

Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are posted accurately and timely.

Assist with yearly financial statements.

Maintain the accounting database through data recovery, system upgrades, and backups.

Coordinate with bankers and prepare trade documents, such as bank acceptance.

Process daily bank reconciliations.

Liaise with sales personnel regarding cash bill payments and overdue accounts.

Maintain journal entries for hire purchase transactions.

Ensure all received documents are checked, validated, and matched accordingly.

Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Banking, or Finance.

Preferably able to communicate effectively in Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Have at least 3-5 years of working experience in accounting.

Proficient in operating (SQL) accounting software.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
