Job Title: Sales & Marketing Specialist / Account Admin Officer - Travel Agency
Location: Butterworth, Penang
Job Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about travel and have experience in sales & marketing and account administration? We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill a dual-role position, a leading travel agency. The ideal candidate will support both sales & marketing efforts to promote our tours and assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job Description:


Sales & Marketing Specialist:

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive bookings and achieve sales targets for our travel packages.
Marketing Campaigns: Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns (social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing) to increase brand visibility and attract potential clients.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored travel solutions and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Content Creation: Write and create promotional materials such as website content, blog posts, email newsletters, and social media updates.
Market Research: Monitor travel industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to adjust strategies and improve sales.


Account Admin:

Client Account Management: Handle client accounts, update and maintain accurate client details, process bookings, and ensure all administrative work is organized and accurate.
Billing & Invoicing: Manage billing and invoicing for travel bookings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of invoices.
Coordination with Suppliers: Coordinate with hotels, airlines, and other vendors to ensure smooth operations for each booked tour.
Record-Keeping: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and other relevant administrative tasks.
Reporting: Assist in generating sales reports and customer feedback to help improve future business decisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales and marketing within the travel/tourism industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (SEO, social media, PPC, email marketing).
Excellent organizational, administrative, and account management skills.
Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for travel and an understanding of the tourism market is a big plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred but not required).
