Job description

• Handle daily bookkeeping, including data entry into accounting software.

• Maintain and organize company records, contracts, and business licenses.

• Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and reports.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and handling payments to subcontractors, vendors, and staff claims.

• Allocate expenses to the correct cost centres.

• Prepare financial statements, audit accounts, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

• Update monthly project status and payments.

• Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash (staff claims).

• Prepare financial reports and statements as required.

• Maintain proper filing of all financial and administrative documents.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

• Relevant experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably within the construction field.

• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese, both written and spoken.

• Experienced in Autocount Accounting software.

• Proficient in using accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant business tools.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

• Able to start work immediately.

• Possess own transportation.

• Salary based on work experience.
