We're seeking a dedicated Account Admin Assistant to join our growing team. In this essential role, you'll be assisting our Senior Accountant in ensuring the monthly/yearly accounts is up to date and accurate. This one-year contract role is based in Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement.
Accounts
Job Description
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
- Reconcile bank statements and transaction records
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Administration
- Handle general office administration and filing
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, and travel arrangements
- Assist with procurement and inventory tracking
- Provide admin support to HR and other departments as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in an accounting, finance, or administrative support role
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g.Financio, SQL, Autocount)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A diploma or degree in accounting, business, or related field is an advantage
