- Ensuring that the electrical installations are in compliance with the Electrical Inspectorate Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994 and other relevant authorities’ requirements.
- Ensuring efficient operations of the electrical installations and conducting regular checks on all the electrical equipment in the HT Room, LV Switch Room and Generator Set Room.
- Test-running the generator set once a month to ensure the system is in order and functional.
- Recording all faults noted in the electrical system and submission of list to the DSM/OM/BM for further action
- Liaising closely with the Supervising Engineer during his monthly visit to ensure all findings and comments by the Engineer are rectified accordingly. Such findings and rectification actions are to be notified to DSM/OM/BM.
- Standby to attend to emergency breakdown calls on all electrical systems after his normal working hours. Should he be unreachable or unable to attend to the electrical breakdown due to unforeseen circumstances, justification must be produced or else a show cause letter shall be issued.
- To attend and resolve any M&E issues as directed by the DSM/OM/BM after the completion of his primary assigned duties as stated above.
Job Requirement
- Minimum SPM or equivalent
- A4-2 Chargeman certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
- Total Work Experience: 7 to 10 years
- Total Relevant Experience: 5 to 6 years in Junior Management
- Possess good knowledge in M&E system that is applicable to high rise residential, commercial and mixed developments
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to maintain effective working relationships with division staff and customers
- Fair oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Computer literate (MS Office) and other applications
