About the job (A) Senior Spring Boot Developer

We are seeking a Senior Spring Boot Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Oracle DB technical skills.

• Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with business specifications and Allianz project standards.
• Ensure timely completion of business application coding within the project schedule.
• Ensure compliance of frontline development functions to System Development Guidelines and Standards.
• Develop and implement high-quality systems that fulfill specifications and user requirements.
• Maintain constant communication with team members, users, and vendors.
• Keep up-to-date with advances in computer technology and their impact on the business environment.
• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and the ability to guide and review the codes of junior developers.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading a team with Angular developers is an advantage.
• Experience in the Insurance Industry is an advantage.

Technical Skillset:

• Good experience with Oracle Database 11g or above, especially in PLSQL (mandatory).
• Experience designing security between application integrations without using third-party software.
• Experience with JBOSS and Tomcat server environments, including troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of JSON, RESTful API, and Web Services.
• Experience with Maven and CLI build scripts is an advantage.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jira and Jenkins is an advantage.
