About the job
In your new role, you will:
- Be accountable for solution administration, system maintenance, support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operation to meet customer SLA targets. Support locally, globally, and manage projects.
- Key requirement: The candidate must have experience as a business analyst and know how to manage end users.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing IT operational support for semiconductor production.
- Providing 24/7 support for IT manufacturing solutions (on-call support included).
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for software applications.
- Implementing test automation best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Managing and maintaining testing infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Contributing to major IT and software projects within Fault Detection & Classification (FDC).
- Ensuring high application availability, supporting preventive maintenance, and plant shutdown activities.
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
- A University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in software development, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience in application administration and programming (C#, Python, PL/SQL, XML, scripting languages, middleware technologies).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and test automation.
- Knowledge of application management on Windows, Unix, Linux.
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Knowledge of APC solutions is a plus.
- Fluent English skills; Malay/Chinese skills are a plus.
