About the job (A) SEA Financial Controller

Reports to:Asia Finance Director

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial control of the South East Asia (SEA) region that comprises the countries of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, with the support of country local finance teams and Asia Finance Hub
• Provide financial analysis on the business performance of the SEA region, by working with the country head and country local finance team, for review by the management
• Work closely with individual country manager/finance team and Asia Finance Hub in the aspects of timely and accurate production of financial and management accounts, debtors and creditors control and annual audit exercise
• Work closely with individual country manager/finance team and Asia Treasury in the aspect of efficient and effective cash flow management
• Support and monitor the completion of country audits
• Support the production of budgets and forecasts

Requirements

• Proven at least 5 years of working experience as a financial controller, previous working experience in regional finance is a must.
• A self-starter, confident individual who is highly motivated with solid skills of execution
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in a people management capacity and track record in a finance business partner role working across different levels of stakeholders
• Proven experience in working with multi-cultural team
• An open-minded and co-working type of leader
• Dynamics 365 experience is an advantage
• Previous work experience in the shipping agency/shipping related industries is an advantage
