Client: Parle & Royel (biscuits & tea)

Job title: Sales Promoter cum Merchandiser
Urgent: JB and KL, 1 each

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers by promoting and selling the company's products; meet customer needs.
• Ensure stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
• Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store.
• Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products.
• Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake.
• Identify profitable lines and bestsellers to optimize sales volume and profitability.
• Recommend promotional strategies using sales and pricing data.
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail environment.
• Attend to customer needs and inquiries about products.
• Demonstrate, promote, and sell products, creating a positive image.
• Set up and arrange displays and demonstration areas to attract customers.
• Update and communicate sales and product feedback to the Sales & Marketing team.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of similar work experience as a promoter/merchandiser.
• Ability to understand customer needs and handle different personalities.
• Well-groomed, pleasant, and cheerful personality.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive team player with high motivation.
• Willingness to travel to different outlets (valid driver’s license may be required).

Working hours

Friday to Sunday (10 am - 10 pm, 2-hour break for lunch and dinner)

Salary

RM 1800 basic + RM 500 transport allowance. Uniform provided.
