Job Description

Group Insurance -Responsible for group insurance matters which includes:

  • Identification of insurance needs and source competitive coverage for the group
  • Review of existing coverage and provide advice on insurance matters
  • Renewal and subscription of policies in a timely and cost efficiently manner
  • Claims management to ensure that claims are settled reasonably and promptly
  • Management of captive insurance to achieve premium savings and to monitor the profitability of the captive fund

To support the risk management framework of the Group:

  • Coordinating and overseeing operating units risk management activities and ensure compliance with Groups Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
  • Maintenance the Groups risk register and close monitoring of the Groups key risks
  • Review of the risk owners response and action plans for risk mitigation effectiveness and provide improvement recommendation on identified risk where possible.
  • Assist in the improvement and streamlining of management reports and internal controls of operating units
  • Develop risk management awareness and in-house training program

Job Specification:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Insurance/Risk Management/Finance or equivalent
  • 5-6 years' relevant experience
  • Strong insurance market knowledge and able to negotiate with insurers/brokers
  • Leadership skills to manage team of personnel with different backgrounds
  • Communications skills to ensure that both horizontal and vertical communication within the organization is well conveyed
  • Willing to Travel and stay for oversea when ever required
  • ANZIIF and MII qualification will be advantage
