JOB DESCRIPTION FINANCE MANAGER / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. To oversee financial accounting functions, including the preparation of monthly management reports, cashflow, annual budgets, audited accounts, tax submissions and closing of accounts.
  2. To prepare budget/forecast and perform financial analysis for management review.
  3. To coordinate company's payroll with HR consultant.
  4. To liaise with company bankers, tax agent, statutory and internal auditors for all matters in relation to the company and ensure compliance with all legislation including tax and company laws.
  5. To handle company secretarial matters.
  6. To maintain and update reporting systems and procedures as and when required.
  7. To supervise and train accounts executive.

Requirements :

  1. Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
  2. Member of MIA and or CIMA, ACCA and CPA.
  3. Minimum 8 years of working experience.
  4. Experience in consulting engineering industry would be added advantage.
  5. In-depth knowledge of accrual accounting, finance, costing and financial reporting.
  6. Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
  7. Analytical, meticulous and initiative.
  8. Good working attitudes and communication & interpersonal skills.
  9. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
