Area Manager (Central) and Sales Lead
OBJECTIVE
- Lead the local team in sales, business development, patient care, and relations management with key doctors, hospitals, and NGOs in Klang Valley and assigned areas.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop plans, set annual targets, allocate resources, and implement activities.
- Oversee outlets in Klang Valley and coordinate with finance, operations, and admin teams for smooth operations.
- Perform activities as required by the company's GM from time to time.
Area/Region Responsibilities
- Identify and engage key hospital staff involved in breast surgery and cancer activities.
- Implement company's strategies in Klang Valley and other assigned areas.
- Maintain staff morale, training, and benefits.
Represent the company's leadership in Klang Valley and assigned areas for daily decisions.
Sales Lead Responsibilities
a) Sales Management
- Set sales targets, monitor sales, and motivate the sales team in Klang Valley and other areas.
- Prioritize resources for key customers and prospects.
- Identify and improve struggling sales initiatives.
b) Relationship Management
- Build rapport with healthcare professionals and NGOs.
- Act as product champion, providing solutions and after-sales support.
- Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
c) Education, Awareness, and Support
- Conduct CMEs with healthcare professionals with marketing support.
- Present products to potential customers and hospital social departments.
- Promote product awareness through cancer campaigns with hospital and NGO support.
d) Other Duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the company or reporting superior.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Background in clinical nursing or allied health; oncology or palliative experience preferred.
- Minimum 4 years in sales.
- Experience in hospital, clinical, or healthcare settings preferred.
- Passion for supporting cancer survivors and understanding patient journeys.
- Willingness to present, communicate, negotiate, and travel within the region.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
