We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR & Admin Manager to lead and manage our HR operations for the manufacturing arm of our business. This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident navigating complex HR matters while staying compliant with local regulations.
(Mandarin-speaking candidate preferred.)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with HQ in leading the subsidiary HR and Admin team with routine report submission.
- Develop and maintain appropriate HR System policies and procedures in compliance with the company’s objectives.
- Plan, liaise, and work with the Head of Department on all manpower matters and provide required directives.
- Manage and execute all administrative issues in compliance with local legislation.
- Be involved in client’s audits and required documentation.
- Update management on industry trends and ensure compliance with human resource legal requirements and reporting.
- Familiar with government boards on all aspects of HR matters such as permits, tax, grants, migrant worker quota applications, and others.
- Analyze and develop competitive compensation and benefits programs in alignment with company operations.
- Develop positive relations with employees through effective communication and feedback gathering to enhance mutual understanding on people and work matters.
- Lead and/or perform HR functions such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, employee development, budgeting, manpower planning, counseling, grievance handling, statistical reporting, and other HR matters.
- Administer and maintain employee records, performance appraisals, and benefits plans.
- Plan and submit training needs applications related to EHS, job up-skills, and apply for HRD grants.
Must have requirements:
- Good exposure in HR operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with local laws, training grant applications, and work permit processes.
- Experience with external client audits and compliance documentation.
- Result-oriented with the ability to think creatively in managing human relations.
- Ability to review and improve HR SOPs, procedures, handbooks, and training materials.
- Experience in monthly reporting and yearly budgeting.
- End-to-end recruitment experience, especially managing hiring for managerial and indirect labor roles (e.g., engineers).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with the Factory Manager and government agencies.
