Job Description

  • Responsible for devising, implementing and monitoring error-proof devices in areas where opportunity is identified.
  • Recommend and document methods to improve efficiency, reducing waste in materials and equipment.
  • Apply, educate, promote, and spread culture in the use of lean manufacturing tools.
  • Active participation in LPA, QRQC & JOS.
  • Develop and apply quality techniques for troubleshooting to optimize process quality using lean manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma.
  • Develop and document simulations to analyze the impact of improvements previously taken, if applicable.
  • Direct the planning and implementation of Kaizen related continuous improvement activities.
  • Document work done & results achieved.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Permanently challenges the status quo understood as a day to day activity in the section.
  • Willing and desiring to be trained in Integrated Lean Six Sigma work systems.
  • Using lean tools, manage projects with no known solution.
  • Must possess good judgment, planning and analytical skills, with the ability to engage team members to support significant shop floor change.
