Data Analyst – Supply Chain

About the group and Position:

At Juniper Networks, the Central Planning Team is responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and reporting on quarterly revenue targets. We utilize a vast array of Supply Chain Planning, Finance and Sales data for our analysis and drive a multi-functional team to deliver our targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide critical insights into customer demand fulfillment and supply availability.
  • Utilize advanced SQL querying techniques (Snowflake environment) for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development of forecasting models through the integration of diverse data sources, with potential involvement in the application of AI/ML methodologies.
  • Design and implement interactive and automated dashboards that effectively visualize complex datasets for enhanced stakeholder understanding.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support data-driven decision-making, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for supply chain performance improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams within supply chain operations to elicit data requirements and translate them into robust reporting solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices in data analytics, reporting methodologies, and visualization tools.
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, including proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, identify key insights, and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated capacity for rapid learning and adaptation to evolving business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within a supply chain environment, preferably in the high-tech sector.
  • Expertise in developing complex SQL queries and optimizing data retrieval processes.
  • Experience in the creation and deployment of data dashboards and visualizations.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in analytical contexts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to data analysis (e.g., Python).
