Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D scanning programs using software such as PolyWorks, Geomagic, GOM Inspect, or similar.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to define scanning strategies and inspection routines.
• Automate scan-to-CAD comparison workflows and reporting templates.
• Validate and troubleshoot scan data for accuracy and completeness.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions using scan data.
• Maintain documentation for scanning procedures and software configurations.
• Train operators and technicians on scanning software and workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in 3D scanning programming or metrology software.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) and scan data processing tools.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional analysis.
• Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
