Job summary

AFTA MOTOR SDN BHD is seeking a creative and detail-oriented 3D Product Showcase Artist to join our team in Malaysia. Fresh graduates are welcome, with training and guidance provided to develop 3D product models, renders, and promotional visuals for marketing and presentations.

The ideal candidate will transform product ideas into compelling visuals, collaborate with Marketing and Product teams, and contribute to social media content, campaigns, and product launches.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in 3D digital animation or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in 3D modeling, product visualization, 3D animation, or similar roles is a plus.
• Proficient in 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Marmoset Toolbag or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of 3D modeling, textures, lighting, rendering, and camera composition.
• Able to create realistic and visually attractive product renders.
• Experience in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant 3D modeling, visualization, rendering, animation, or editing work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and high-quality 3D product models based on references, drawings, measurements, or existing files.
• Develop visually appealing 3D product showcases and presentations for marketing and promotions.
• Apply materials, textures, lighting, and camera setups for realistic visuals.
• Produce high-quality 3D renders, product animations, and turntable animations.
• Create product showcase videos for social media, ads, launches, and presentations.
• Perform video and image editing, including basic motion graphics and transitions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to translate ideas into visuals.
• Develop creative concepts and visual styles for new launches and campaigns.
• Optimize 3D assets and scenes for efficient rendering.
• Manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
• Maintain consistency in visual quality and brand identity.

This role will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D product models, renders, product showcase visuals, animations, and promotional content for marketing and presentation purposes.

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about 3D design and able to develop a product from 3D modeling to final visual presentation, including materials, lighting, rendering, animation, and post-production editing. You will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to transform product ideas and references into visually engaging content for social media, advertisements, product launches, and other marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and high-quality 3D product models based on product references, drawings, measurements, or existing 3D files.
• Develop visually appealing 3D product showcases and presentations for marketing and promotional purposes.
• Apply materials, textures, lighting, and camera setups to achieve realistic and professional product visuals.
• Produce high-quality 3D renders, product animations, and turntable animations.
• Create product showcase videos for social media, advertisements, product launches, and presentations.
• Perform video and image editing, including basic motion graphics, transitions, effects, and post-production.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to understand product features and translate them into effective visual presentations.
• Develop creative concepts and visual styles for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Optimize 3D assets and scenes for efficient rendering and production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all projects are completed within the required timeline.
• Maintain consistency in visual quality and brand identity across all product showcase materials.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in 3D Digital Animation or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant working experience in 3D modeling, product visualization, 3D animation, or similar roles will have an added advantage.
• Proficient in one or more 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Marmoset Toolbag, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of 3D modeling, materials, texturing, lighting, rendering, and camera composition.
• Able to create realistic and visually attractive product renders.
• Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an advantage.
• Experience in product animation, motion graphics, or product advertising visuals is an advantage.
• Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant 3D modeling, product visualization, rendering, animation, or editing work is preferred. For fresh graduates, academic projects, personal projects, or internship work may be submitted.
