Our #ProductDesignTeam is expanding!We are looking for a talented 3D Modeler specializing in hard surface modelling to create high-quality motorcycle helmet designs and motorcycle parts. Proficiency in tools like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Rhino 3D is essential. The role involves developing precise, detailed models, producing professional renders for internal reviews, and collaborating with the design and management teams. Strong technical modelling skills, attention to form and function, and the ability to present and communicate design intent visually are key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D Modeling & Design

Create high-quality 3D models of motorcycle helmets and motorcycle parts from concept sketches, reference images, or CAD drawings.

Maintain accuracy in dimensions, shape, and detailing according to design requirements.

Iterate on models based on feedback from designers or engineers.

Render realistic and stylized images of helmet designs using appropriate rendering engines

Produce clean, professional presentation visuals for internal reviews and decision-making.

Generate turntable animations or exploded views when necessary.

Map-out graphics/skin from 3D model

Work closely with the design, R&D, and marketing teams to understand visual, functional, and ergonomic requirements.

Participate in design meetings and communicate ideas visually through 3D outputs.

4. File Management & Compatibility

Ensure models are organized, labeled, and saved in formats compatible with other departments (e.g., CAD for manufacturing, OBJ/STL for rapid prototyping).

Maintain a clean, optimized mesh topology for easy downstream processing.

5. Presentation for Management Review

Prepare polished visual presentations of 3D models including multiple angles, materials, and lighting setups.

Present concepts and design iterations clearly, explaining design rationale and changes as needed.

Apply graphics to products for evaluation and marketing purposes.

6. Software Proficiency

Use one or more of the following tools as required:

Autodesk Maya

Autodesk 3ds Max

Graphic designs software skills are plus points.

7. Quality Control & Revisions

Review and refine models for surface issues, mesh errors, or visual inconsistencies.

Implement revision feedback quickly and accurately.

8. Trend & Technology Awareness

Stay updated on helmet design trends, 3D modeling techniques, and rendering technologies.

Suggest improvements or enhancements to design workflow when applicable.

Requirements

Passionate in all things two-wheeled is a plus.

Positive attitude and willing to learn.

Possess strong technical 3D modelling skill.

Independent and a good team player.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Game Design or related field.
