Job summary

Solarvest is seeking an experienced electrical operations professional to safely operate, maintain and switch 33kV systems across our solar PV plants. You will handle high voltage switching, routine maintenance and emergency response, coordinating with engineers, clients and authorities to ensure uptime and safety.

The role requires a valid 33kV Chargeman B0/B1 certificate, experience with MV systems, and readiness to travel for site breakdowns outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Valid 33kV Chargeman B0/B1 certificate.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of 11kV/33kV systems.
• Ability to read SLD and electrical drawings.
• Willing to travel and assist in breakdowns outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform 11kV/33kV switching, isolation, earthing and LOTO activities.
• Inspect and maintain 33kV substations, RMU, switchgear and transformers.
• Maintain plant inspection records and logbooks.
• Lead emergency response for solar farm electrical breakdowns.
• Coordinate with engineers, testers, subcontractors, clients and authorities.
• Supervise electrical works and ensure safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety procedures.
• Support 33kV maintenance, testing and improvement activities.
