Job summary

MY NAFCO PRECISION SDN. BHD. in Negeri Sembilan, Seremban is seeking a skilled CNC operator to set up and run a range of CNC machines, load programs, inspect parts with precision tools, and maintain equipment.

The role requires reading drawings, troubleshooting programs, and coordinating with maintenance and QA teams. You will perform trial runs, monitor production, ensure schedules are met, and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, such as CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and routers, based on production requirements.
• Load materials, tools, and machine components for production runs.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize production quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings to load programs
• Input CNC programs or load pre-existing programs into machines.
• Edit and troubleshoot programs as needed to ensure correct machine operation and optimal performance.
• Conduct trial runs to verify machine setup and program accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are being produced to specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Document and report any deviations or issues to supervisors or quality control teams.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot and address minor machine malfunctions or malfunctions promptly to prevent production delays.
• Work closely with maintenance personnel to address more significant machine issues.
• Monitor machine performance during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
• Maintain an organized work area and ensure proper handling and storage of parts and tools.
• Ensure production schedules are met while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring the safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Follow established guidelines for handling hazardous materials and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and quality control teams to improve processes and resolve production issues.
• Acceptable to work in 2 shifts.
• Able to read and speak mandarin will be an advantage
• Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up to date with advancements in CNC technology and machining processes.
