About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at MY BINDER SDN BHD' in Serdang, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall financial health and growth of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting-related tasks
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies
• Provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments as needed
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance function

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a small business or accounting firm environment
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant financial tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
