Summary
Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the development, procurement, and implementation of off-the-shelf standard solutions and/or develop new standard automation solutions to support customer product manufacturing equipment needs.
  • Plan and lead hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off-the-shelf equipment, analyzing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other data. Communicate with multiple stakeholders, including solution providers, for design, technical information, and specifications.
  • Lead and resolve complex technical problems and oversee equipment validation activities such as Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
  • Develop maintenance plans and oversee or execute activities to achieve target performance. Be accountable for performance, maintenance, and OEE improvements for multiple machines within a value stream.
  • Support the customer product roadmap using Celestica Automation E2E processes and tools such as User Requirement Specifications (URS), Design for Automation Assembly (DFAA), and PM workbook.
  • Drive problem-solving and corrective actions related to machine failures, speed loss, or quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to ensure equipment meets manufacturing requirements statistically.
