Job Description

Role in Brief:

To coordinate and supervise guest relations and food orders to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Greet and seat guests warmly, explain the concept, recommend menu items, and upsell based on guest preferences and allergies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and seat guests promptly and warmly.
  2. Create an enjoyable dining experience, maintaining a safe, clean environment.
  3. Work well with others, demonstrating flexibility and patience.
  4. Maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information.
  5. Supervise food runners to ensure proper service and sanitation.
  6. Collaborate with other departments during events.
  7. Follow SOPs and report deviations.
  8. Understand emergency procedures and assist in evacuations if needed.
  9. Assist with service, including bussing and food delivery, maintaining safety standards.
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  11. Perform foot travel and stand for periods as required.
  12. Handle payments accurately and report discrepancies.
  13. Follow opening and closing checklists and suggest improvements.
  14. Meet daily with the team to discuss improvements.
  15. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  16. Protect company assets and guest privacy.
  17. Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage suggestions.
  18. Relay orders to kitchen via POS and assist in serving.
  19. Attend training and meetings.
  20. Respect teammates and avoid harassment.
  21. Prevent injuries, especially during busy times.
  22. Train staff on hazard prevention.
  23. Execute management instructions as required.
Desired Candidate Profile

Experience as a waiter in upscale dining, excellent communication skills, customer service focus, professional appearance, flexible shifts, knowledge of service etiquette, proficient with software and equipment, calm under pressure, and good problem-solving skills.
