Vulnerability Analyst will scan, analyze, and report on the compliance of systems and network infrastructure at regional and theater levels. The role aims to protect information and systems by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, authentication, and availability. Reports to the RCC-SWA Cybersecurity Manager.

This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and a tuition reimbursement program. Candidates must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work there.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, coordinate, review, analyze, and provide feedback on weekly vulnerability scans (e.g., Retina coordinator/analyst, REM server administrator).
  2. Survey network diagrams and artifacts, utilize visualization tools, and help identify gaps in vulnerability scanning across network assets.
  3. Prepare vulnerability scanning reports for commanders and headquarters; liaise with IAVM and IAPM regarding issues.
  4. Develop plans and recommend tools for scanning all Tier II network assets.
  5. Monitor INFOCON status, assess architecture and assets for compliance, and develop reporting mechanisms.
  6. Generate reports, collaborate with HBSS administrators, and serve as HBSS administrator for SWACC.
  7. Review IAVA reports, coordinate remediation, and provide updates on patches and firmware updates.
  8. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
  • Must adhere to DoD 8570.01M standards, maintaining at least one baseline and one CE certification.
  • Authorized certifications include: CCNP Security, CASP+, GCED, GCIH, CISA, CCSP, CISSP, and others listed.
  • Minimum three years of experience working with data, network, and system technologies, with at least two focused on security.
  • Knowledge of certification tools is preferred.
