Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Volvo Personal Service Technician located in Kuwait City.

The VPS Technician is a unique role within the automotive industry and is the direct customer contact and reference for each of their visits to our workshop. Our VPS Technicians are not only responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring all work meets Volvo's safety and quality standards, but also represents the direct point of contact with the customer, from confirming appointments, receiving into the business, updating during the customer visit, through to the handing over of their vehicle upon completion.

In order to be successful in this role, you must be highly confident in dealing directly with customers, both virtually and face-to-face.

• Communication skills: interacting with customers, providing clear explanations, and updates
• Mechanical skills: maintenance, repair, and routine inspection of vehicles
• Diagnostic skills: diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues
• Technical skills: testing vehicle systems and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Administrative skills: maintaining accurate documentation and records
• Relevant technical or vocational training or certification within Automotive sector
• Languages: Fluent in English is essential & Arabic is highly desirable
