Qualifications

• ITI or high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in an automotive role.
• Knowledge of auto spray painting, denting and polishing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by hand or machine.
• Mix and match paint by eye or by using computer technology to ensure correct color match.
• Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rubs down surfaces between coats.
• Touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles.
• Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork.
• Paint signs or artwork on vehicles.
• Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by his her direct supervisor
