Description

• Responsibilities

• Fault finding, problem identification, performance of cost- effective solutions
• Preventative / scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance
• Repair, maintenance, calibration, modification, and upgrade of weather stations
• Executing tasks according to schedule and safety procedures with complete adherence to HSE requirements
• Ensuring work is performed in a timely manner and it meets required standards and quality systems
• Demonstrating safety leadership and participation in safety initiatives
• Interacting with supervisors, and contractors as needed
• Tool checks, toolbox talks, and entry permits management
• Provision of assistance for research projects
• Maintaining tools and equipment in custody to high standards
• Configuration of new sensors/parts and integrating them to existing network of weather stations
• Program writing/modification to suit modifications to the weather stations network
• Providing maintenance advice/training and assistance to staff as requested by supervisors
• Updating technical content of preventive maintenance procedures
• A driving license (Kuwait) is desirable, but not essential
