Job summary

Veolia in Kuwait seeks a Control Room Operator for the Sulaibiya Waste Water Treatment & Reclamation Plant. You will operate UF/RO systems, monitor plant utilities, and coordinate with the Process Leader to ensure safe, efficient performance.

Responsibilities include shift-based operation, logging, reporting, and adherence to EHS procedures, with collaboration across disciplines to optimize plant reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in Waste Water Treatment and Reclamation plant.
• Experience with UF/RO membrane technology is required.
• Experience with plant automation systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC) is essential.
• Knowledge of plant safety and EHS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor UF/RO system and plant utilities to ensure safe operation.
• Report operation conditions and findings; coordinate with process leader and operations manager.
• Assist with routine maintenance planning and plant performance optimization.
• Maintain documentation: shift logs, chemical usage, and plant records.
• Ensure compliance with EHS procedures and plant process requirements.
